Step by step
Design a t-shirt online in four steps
- Choose your garmentIn the video we pick a Ringspun Premium t-shirt, a step up in quality from a basic tee.
- Set colour, sizes and positionsChoose your colour, how many of each size, and whether to print the front, back or both.
- Start the designerYour garment opens with a design box showing the print area.
- Add your designUse text templates, clipart or your own photos, then add it to your basket.
Designer features explained
Text templates
There are lots of text templates to choose from, whether your t-shirt is for a business, a gift, a club or yourself. Double click a text box to edit it, then change the size, font and colour.
Clipart
Find a selection of simple images in several categories. Combine them with text, shapes and frames.
Your own photos
Upload your own photos, or use free images from Pixabay and Unsplash. Pick sharp, well lit photos, and check our design guidelines for resolution.
The designer is easiest to use on a computer. On a small phone screen, sizing and placing layers can be tricky.
Designer questions
I already have a finished design. Do I still use the designer?
