How to order custom t-shirts
Design and order online in a few minutes, with the price worked out as you go. For bigger or specialist jobs, ask us for a quote.
Two ways to order
You can order custom t-shirts in two ways. Most people design online and pay straight away. For screen printing, embroidery or large orders, send us an enquiry and we will quote.
- Design online: one-offs and small runs, no minimum order, instant price
- Ask for a quote: bulk orders, screen printing, embroidery and anything unusual
Design online
How to order custom t-shirts online
Follow these steps from start to finish. The online designer works best on a computer, as placing layers is easier on a bigger screen.
- Choose your garmentPick a t-shirt, hoodie or other garment from our range.
- Pick colour and print positionsChoose the garment colour and whether you want a print on the front, back or both.
- Enter sizes and quantitiesAdd how many you need in each size. One design covers every size.
- Add your designStart the designer, then upload an image, add text or use our clipart and templates.
- Check and add to basketLook over the preview and the price, then add it to your basket.
- Check outChoose delivery or free collection from our Portishead shop, then pay.
Tips for each step
Choosing a garment
Not sure which t-shirt to pick? Our guide to the best t-shirt for printing compares weight, fit and price. Black and white stock styles are usually the quickest to print.
Adding your design
We recommend using the designer even if you already have finished artwork. You can still upload your file, and you can place it at the right size on the garment.
You can also use free photos from sites such as Pixabay and Unsplash. Check our design guidelines before you upload, and watch the design video guide for a walkthrough.
Leaving instructions
Use the order notes box on the checkout page to tell us anything about placement, sizing or colours.
After you order
We check your artwork before printing. If we spot a problem, such as a low-resolution image, we will contact you. If not, we go ahead and print.
Need your order by a certain date? Contact us before you order on 01275 840033 or teepigprinting@gmail.com. Faster turnaround may be possible for an extra charge.

Some jobs are better quoted by a person. Send us an enquiry with your design and details, and we will reply with a price.
Ordering questions
Can you design it for me?
Yes. If you only have an idea, call or email us and we can create the design for you. Design help starts from £25.
The garment I want is not on the website. Can I still order it?
Possibly. We use several suppliers with a huge range of garments. Tell us what you are after and we will check.
Can I reorder the same design later?
Yes. We keep your designs on file, so a reprint is easy. Just get in touch with your order details.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible. Once work has started, a charge may apply to cover it, and printed items cannot be cancelled. See our terms and conditions.
