Ordering from us
Your status
By placing an order, online or offline, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts.
The contract between us
After you place an order, we will email you to confirm we have received it. All orders are subject to our acceptance. We accept your order by sending an order confirmation email, or a pro-forma invoice for offline payment.
The contract covers only the products in that order. We do not have to supply any other products until we have confirmed a separate order.
We may decline an order, or end a contract without notice, if the print data you send contains pornographic or illegal content.
Your rights as a consumer
Consumers usually have a right to cancel an online order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. This means you cannot cancel an order for custom printed or embroidered products under those regulations. Your other legal rights are not affected.
Print data and proofs
We can convert print data that is not supplied in CMYK, but conversion is at your risk. Converting RGB data or ICC colour profiles will naturally cause some colour differences from the original. Liability for these differences lies with you.
If you need colours matched, include industry standard Pantone® colour references in your print data. We convert Pantone colours using the Pantone® CMYK Colour Bridge, and any colour difference is your liability. We will not match colours that are not Pantone® references.
Where we send you a proof to approve, liability for corrections passes to you once you approve it. We will not accept responsibility for errors in a proof you have approved.
Delivery
We print and dispatch orders as quickly as we can, using the delivery service you choose at checkout. Some garments have to be ordered in from our suppliers first. We will let you know if stock delays will take longer than usual. Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays.
All delivery times stated on our website are a guide only. We aim to dispatch within the times given but do not guarantee them. Please order with plenty of time to spare. If you need an order by a set date, tell us before you order and choose a guaranteed delivery service.
If your order is delayed within the courier network, we will try to resolve it once you tell us. We cannot accept liability for courier delays, as they are outside our control. Current delivery options and prices are on our delivery page.
Cancellation
Once we have sent your order confirmation, you can only cancel or change your order if you pay an administration charge to cover costs already incurred. In some cases we may be able to waive this charge, so please call us to ask.
If your order has been prepared for printing or embroidery, we will charge for the labour involved, up to the full value of the original order. If your order has already been printed, or is being printed, it cannot be cancelled.
Returns
If you receive damaged goods, or goods we agree are incorrect, please return them within 2 weeks to: Teepig, 7 The Triangle, West Hill, Portishead, Bristol BS20 6PG.
Please send returns by a recorded service, as we cannot accept liability for returns lost in the post. We will either replace the faulty goods or refund you in full, including the delivery charge. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to appear on your card account.
We cannot give refunds where the wrong material or garment was chosen when ordering. More help is on our returns page.
Complaints
Please report obvious defects in delivered products within 2 weeks of receipt. We will either refund you in full or replace the faulty products.
- Complaints cannot be accepted where the problem comes from not following our requirements for print data.
- Slight colour differences across a print run are not defects.
- A printed colour that differs from a previous job is not a defect.
- We make every effort to place the print or embroidery where it was positioned in the online designer. A difference of up to 15mm must be allowed for.
Ownership, storage and rights in your artwork
Digital data and other items needed for reprints are kept by SK8 OR DIE LTD. Data used for production is not returned to you, but stored on our secure local servers.
You confirm that you have all the rights needed to use, share and publish the data you send us, in particular text and photographs. You are responsible for making sure your data does not infringe anyone else’s rights and that the printed content does not break the law.
You will indemnify us in full if claims are made against SK8 OR DIE LTD because the data you supplied infringes third party rights, in particular copyright. See also our copyright notice.
